Welcome to the Manchester Road Safety Quiz!!
Following on from the success of last years quiz where 97 schools out of 127 took part, it would be fantastic if we could have all 127 schools taking part this year.
The Road Safety quiz is a fun, factual and informative way of learning about Road Safety. By incorporating the use of IT in the first round children are able to answer questions individually and in their own time, allowing all children to fully participate.
Round 1 of the quiz can easily be fitted into the schools curriclum in IT, English, PSHE, Geography and Health and safety.
The First round of the Quiz will again be live on the internet from the beginning of November 2010 until the end of December 2010.
There will be 5 points awarded to each year group taking part, these will be carried forward to the second round
The Second Round will be between January and March, this is for all schools, Years 3&4 first then Years 5&6 next.
To book the second round ring the Road Safety Team on: 0161 234 4480
The Final will take place in the Great Hall in the Town Hall Manchester on the 22nd of June 2011, where the top 8 schools will compete. There will be trophies and a cash prize for all the schools reaching the Final.
